Wanderlust: Cereal Magazine
What magazines live on your bookshelf or coffee table? I’ve been reading The Gentlewoman religiously since the start of the year (back-issues included thanks to Unique Magazines) after my friend Ferren introduced it to me; and Rob picks up Wired every month like clockwork. Other than that, I’ve gone through a lot of books on my Kindle in the last two months, which will be the subject of a separate post, so we can exchange recommendations.
On Instagram, I am very partial to the beautifully-curated feeds of independent print titles like the Portland-based Kinfolk, London-based Oh Comely and Bristol-based Cereal magazine. So of course, you can imagine my excitement at seeing the latter announce that the beautiful imagery from their issues 1 to 4 is now available on an online gallery that you can browse for inspiration and a serious case of wanderlust. You should really have a look!
Find more beautiful photography on the Cereal magazine online gallery and I’d love to hear which independent magazines (especially print ones!) are currently inspiring you. The imagery above is by Brook Holm, Rich Stapleton, Mowie Kay, Line Klein, Jonathan Gregson and Matthias Heiderich for Cereal: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8.
