I have a little Home selection post for you today! As you may know from previous enthusiastic ramblings, Rob & I now have the very exciting, slightly overwhelming task of furnishing and decorating our lovely new flat. From following blogs and magazines’ feeds to indulging in the wondrous rabbit-hole that is Pinterest, we have found so much inspiration to make this space our own and one that we truly love.
Of course, we can’t go too crazy with the design pieces (because, you know, money) so everything that features more than two zeroes after the pound sign is probably not going to be a realistic option in our book. Even for furniture that’s here to stay and where we needed to really take quality into account (our bed, our sofa) we have been reasonable (no more than a £500 price tag for our sofa and a £300 one for our bed). At least it’s easier when you share the bill between two, isn’t it?
Working in design, Rob has a great eye (of course!) but I’d like to think that I too, am starting to develop a new-found love for interiors. So, keeping my budget hat on, I’d like to share with you some of my favorite finds from Habitat, which not only has great affordable pieces, but which collection embraces bright colors wholeheartedly.
No, this is not a sponsored post – I’ve just been impressed both by their catalogue and by the enjoyable user experience one gets on their (clean, tidy) website. Love you Habitat!
Also, don’t tell me my post is not well-timed, as today only there’s a 25% off on EVERYTHING in Habitat stores and online (with the code HAB25) so you might want to get on that action. Here’s what I have my eye on:
